We were immediately greeted by our wait staff for drinks and fresh bread and butter. The menu is wonderful. We had salad and roasted red peppers with anchovy to start. We both had fish. I did the Dover Sole (out of this world good), and my wife had chicken which was perfectly prepared. Skipped dessert since we were going to a show. Price is what you would expect for a good NY place. Overall, we were delighted with food and service. I would definitely come back here. read less

I've been here multiple times and have yet been disappointed. This is my fathers & I go-to dinner spot when he has meetings in the city and meets with me afterwards. The servers are respectful, educated on the dishes the restaurant offers and very attentive. The food is great. I always walked in with no reservations but tend to get seated right away whether it is busy or not which is so convenient! It also never gets too loud or distracting no matter how crowded it gets. As to the food, for antipasto, I always get vangole oreganate & assortmento caldo. For a main dish, I've had & enjoyed risotto ai frutti di marre ( risotto with assorted seafood ) which has been my favorite dish so far ... and pasta with clams. I tend to always go for pasta at Italian restaurants!100% recommend. read less

Very cozy , inviting atmosphere, and being solo, I opted to sit at the bar which was quite full. The barmaid was very pleasant, attentive and recommended the Bolognese for which I ordered parpardelle pasta, and small salad. I knew as soon as I saw the delicate, homemade pasta that this was a great choice. I’m not Italian,but have been to Italy numerous times, and I would swear it was prepared by a loving Nonna. Unfortunately I was too full after the meal to order a dessert, but they looked decadent. Highly recommend this place! read less

NYC Dinner for Two Absolutely delightful! Wonderful service! Boris the bartender is outstanding! Carlos made sure our night was perfect! Very much appreciated!
Food was terrific, the tiramisu was heaven, steaks could not have been better.

It's location was actually beneficial being that we had a show at MSG to shoot over to. Waiters were the old Italian grandpa kind, but kept much notice to making sure your meal was an enjoyable one. Food was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. The beef carpaccio appetizer was my favorite dish of the night, definitely recommended! They were also sensitive to the fact that we were slightly limited in time due to the show. I will definitely be back! read less

Best kept secret in NYC. I had linguini with white clam sauce that was perfect! The desserts are incredible fresh and light. Coffee is fresh . Service is exceptional.
